About Eva Mariam George
Eva is a voracious reader and an aspiring author. She enjoys writing poems and short stories. Her first poem was published in an anthology titled Trail of Episodes. This is her second poem.
LiFT: Tell us about the theme of the anthology and how did you get to know about it?
Eva Mariam George: I guess the theme of the anthology is expression of emotions, emotions that may be difficult to express.
LiFT: What inspired you to write for this particular anthology?
Eva Mariam George: My Grandfather who passed away four years back. I thought I felt deeply when I lost him. So I felt I could write about him.
LiFT: Where do you see yourself ten years down the line in the world of literature?
Eva Mariam George: I want to publish my stories soon. So, maybe an author who published her collection of short stories.
LiFT: What do you do apart from writing?
Eva Mariam George: I love reading, dancing and singing!
LiFT: Are you working on your own book? If yes, please tell us something about it.
Eva Mariam George: Yes. Well, I don’t want to spill the beans yet!
LiFT: What are your suggestions to the budding writers/poets so that they could improve their writing skills?
Eva Mariam George: I am learning myself but I think one should choose the subject or theme and follow one’s thoughts with honesty. That’s what my mom says!
