LiFT: Tell us about your book, the journey of writing it and its content.

Vipul Vijay: Writing a book is a challenging but rewarding journey. It involves brainstorming ideas, outlining the structure, conducting research, and writing.
“Angel of Destruction” is a horror book that follows the journey of a young woman
that takes the main character and plot that entails human and Djinn Counterpart, a sacrifice is made, a price to pay, wish that unleashes death and a hellish curse, with amazing twists & motifs.

LiFT: Why you chose this title?

Vipul Vijay: The primary antagonist is Ifrik, a Djinn seeking revenge on the world, I have chosen the title Angel of Destruction to convey a sense of contrast, blending the concepts of beauty and devastation, and exploring the complexities of good and evil.

LiFT: When did you realize that you want to be a writer and what’s your inspiration behind it?

Vipul Vijay: I discovered my love for writing and poetry when I was a teenager. The power of words to express emotions and create beauty inspired me. It’s a way for me to connect with others and share my perspective on life.

LiFT: Where do you see yourself ten years down the line in the world of literature?

Vipul Vijay: Ten years from now, I’ll be strutting around in a fancy library, signing autographs with a feather pen, I hope to have published several books and established a strong presence in the literary world. I envision myself inspiring and connecting with readers through my writing, while also continuing to learn and grow as an author.

LiFT: How much do you think marketing or quality of a book is necessary to promote a particular book and increase its readers?

Vipul Vijay: Both marketing and the quality of a book are crucial in promoting it and expanding its readership. While marketing helps reach a wider audience, compelling content, and high-quality writing are essential to captivate readers and encourage word-of-mouth recommendations.

LiFT: What is the message you want to spread among folks with your writings?

Vipul Vijay: The message I aim to spread through my writings is to foster a sense of connection, empathy, and understanding among individuals. I strive to encourage open-mindedness, promote positivity, and inspire personal growth, all while fostering a sense of community and unity.

LiFT: What do you do apart from writing?

Vipul Vijay: I engage in various activities apart from writing, including networking, relationship building, media relations, event planning, crisis management, strategic communications, and brand development. As a PR professional, my role involves a diverse range of responsibilities in the media and corporate sectors.

LiFT: What are the activities you resort to when you face a writer’s block?

Vipul Vijay: When facing writer’s block, some activities you can resort to include taking a walk or engaging in physical exercise, reading books or articles to gain inspiration, exploring new places, brainstorming ideas, and practicing free writing or journaling.

LiFT: What if your story will be adopted as a movie? Whom would you want to work as a director or actors in it?

Vipul Vijay: If my story were to be adopted as a movie, I would be interested in having Wes Craven as the director, known for his expertise in the horror genre. Additionally, John Travolta could be the best choice for the role of Djinn.

LiFT: Are you working on your next book? If yes, please tell us something about it.

Vipul Vijay: Yes, I am currently working on my next book, which will delve into the Gothic Horror genre. It will feature unnerving horror elements that aim to captivate and unsettle readers, immersing them in a world of fear and suspense.

LiFT: What are your suggestions to the budding writers/poets so that they could improve their writing skills?

Vipul Vijay: Here are my suggestions for budding writers/poets to improve their skills including reading extensively, writing regularly, seeking feedback from others, studying different writing styles, participating in writing workshops or classes, and experimenting with new techniques and themes.
