LiFT: Tell us about your book, the journey of writing it and its content?

Reema: 25 poems from author’s heart have taken her back to life after a 25day journey. It is not a piece of fiction, but rather a true story. You’ll see how the author died a little each day in these lines, and how writing kept her alive for a little longer. There are verses of passion, bleak facets of life, and others that will break your heart while some will brighten your day. There are no fixed rules or lanes to obey in existence. Each person to stand alone and fight for himself. At the end of the day, we are just the product of our emotions, which can go in a million different directions. Following the one we most believe in is what keeps us alive. Choosing to do what you believe in is a freedom one seldom celebrates. And to celebrate this rare opportunity, all the poems in this book have been written in free-verse style.

LiFT: Why you chose this title?

Reema: This book is dedicated to all those who are trying their best to recognize their feelings at every turn of their lives and not run away from them.
