About Gayathri:

Gayathri was born and raised in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. She was brought up in a typical Indian family. At present she pursed her B.A. English Literature at Sakthi College of Arts and Science for Women, Dindigul. Her personal interests are writing, drawing and photography. Her writings are mostly based on the themes of melancholy.

LiFT: Tell us about the theme of the anthology and how did you get to know about it?

Gayathri: The Anthology “The Last Trip” is about regardless of what kind of journey you take, you frequently experience a wide range of emotions prior to, during, and after your excursion in life. This Anthology drives your emotions upside-down.
I came to know about this anthology through my faculty.

LiFT: What inspired you to write for this particular anthology?

Gayathri: The inspiration for this anthology stemmed from the experiences of some people I knew growing up as a child who went through the unfortunate reality of being pressured into the circle of society.

LiFT: Where do you see yourself ten years down the line in the world of literature?

Gayathri: In 10 years, I hope to advance in my role as much as possible. I love this profession and think it is the right choice for me long-term. I want to continue working in a collaborative environment where every budding authors can thrive. One of my goals is for my ideas to make a bigger, positive impact on the Society.
