I’d like to accept that science and spirituality are two sides of the same truth. I poured my heart out while writing a few chapters, which were followed by poems. I was really emotional while writing, and tears streamed down my cheeks at times. I felt compelled to share something with the world in order to live a calm and balanced existence, and by doing so, anyone can help make the world a better place to live.As books always played a vital role in sharing knowledge and information with the world.
LiFT: Why you chose this title?
Pragati Bangwal: Each chapter has its own meaning, so I was in the flow of writing when I came to the 12th chapter and realized that I hadn’t given the book a title. Suddenly, the title came to mind that I should call it 12ways of enlightened living because it rang true with the book chapter and content.
LiFT: When did you realize that you want to be a writer and what’s your inspiration behind it?
Pragati Bangwal: June 2020, I suddenly began writing inspiring things and felt good after doing so. I had no idea I had developed an interest in journaling; I kept a diary. So whatever I observe I write and on 2023 November an idea came to my mind why not create a book but that was quite challenging to me whether I will do it or not how should I start and so on so one day I was sitting with my mom having coffee she suddenly said you have qualities to become a writer and love writing and books too so why don’t you write something now? She encouraged me to write at a time when I really needed motivation, and she said, “You are a writer,” and I was like, really, let’s do this, and once you have made your mind to something, especially when it is about uplifting society, you are being supported by mediums’ higher energies, and this is what happened with me, it was like I have to get up for action and then only things will align. I began my writing quest in November 2024 and decided that I needed to publish it by 2025. Due to God’s mercy and the blessing of the elders, I was able to publish my first debut book, 12ways of Enlightened Living, on February 6, 2025. And I was like, “Yes, I did it.”
