LiFT: What inspired you to write for this particular anthology?

Drishti Binwal: I share a sincere love for nature. I have always had a strong desire to visit a beach. so I decided to express my curiosity and the reasons why I would love to visit one through my poems. Writing about the beach allowed me to imagine its beauty, peaceful atmosphere, waves, and connection with nature.

LiFT: Where do you see yourself ten years down the line in the world of literature?

Drishti Binwal: Ten years from now, I hope to see myself as a more confident and expressive writer. Since I never imagined that my poems would be published even at this stage, I do not want to predict exactly where my writing journey will take me. However, this experience has encouraged me to keep writing, improve my skills, and explore new ways of expressing my thoughts and feelings. I hope literature will always remain an important and meaningful part of my life.

LiFT: What do you do apart from writing?

Drishti Binwal: Apart from writing, I enjoy practising yoga, travelling, exploring nature, and
focusing on my studies. Yoga is especially important to me because it teaches me discipline,
patience, concentration, and determination.

LiFT: Are you working on your own book? If yes, please tell us something about it.

Drishti Binwal: At present, I am not working on my own book. I am still exploring different ideas and improving my writing skills. However, getting my poems published has inspired me, and I would definitely love to write and publish my own book someday.

LiFT: What are your suggestions to the budding writers/poets so that they could improve their writing skills?

Drishti Binwal: My suggestion to budding writers and poets would be to observe the world around them and write honestly about their thoughts, feelings, and imagination. They should read regularly, keep practising, and not be afraid of making mistakes. Every piece of writing helps us learn something new. Most importantly, they should believe in themselves and enjoy the process of expressing their ideas through words.
