About Saee Joshi

If you ask Saee Joshi to define herself, she will probably say that she is a walking paradox, who finally found her release through creativity. She was born in India, brought up in the Middle East and completed her studies in the UK. Having such a multi – culturally diverse upbringing, rightly so, she picked up a range of multi-faceted interests from a very young age. Two of these interests stuck with her from childhood until today: Writing and Music!

As a schoolkid, she would often write random day-to-day thoughts in her secret diary! As a teen, these random thoughts started including random song lyrics and poems too. Ever since then, she has grown and expanded her creativity through marketing. Her expertise lies in the wide spectrum of digital marketing, design, content and copywriting, where she can integrate her creative and analytical sides to create content for brands. She also functions as a singer, songwriter, poet and a cat lover in her spare time. She has released her debut single “Pieces of Me” available on all streaming platforms.

Today, as a copywriter, marketer, writer and a singer. She is officially a running paradox.
But all hats and labels aside, she is a creator at heart and a true artist in her soul!

LiFT: Tell us about your book, the journey of writing it, and its content.

Saee Joshi: Rise Again is a poetry collection born from a deeply personal chapter of my life — a period of uncertainty, loss, healing, and self-reflection. Writing these poems became a form of catharsis, helping me process emotions I struggled to express otherwise. The book explores themes of resilience, hope, love, growth, and finding light after difficult seasons.

LiFT: Why did you choose this title?

Saee Joshi: I chose the title Rise Again because it represents the core message of the book. No matter how difficult life becomes, there is always a possibility to rebuild, heal, and begin again. It is a reminder that setbacks are not endings; they are often the starting point for transformation.

LiFT: When did you realize that you wanted to be a writer, and what was your inspiration behind it?

Saee Joshi: Writing has always been an extension of me. As a child, I loved expressing my thoughts through journaling, and over time, that evolved into poetry and songwriting along with copywriting as a profession. Life experiences, emotions, and the desire to make people feel understood have always been my biggest inspirations.

LiFT: Where do you see yourself ten years down the line in the world of literature?

Saee Joshi: I hope to continue creating meaningful literary work that connects with people across generations. Beyond recognition, my goal is to write pieces that inspire, comfort, and leave a lasting emotional impact.

LiFT: How important do you think marketing and the quality of a book are in promoting it and increasing its readership?

Saee Joshi: Both are equally important. A well-written book creates the foundation, but effective storytelling around the book helps it reach the right audience. Great writing deserves visibility, and thoughtful marketing helps bridge that connection between the author and readers.

LiFT: What message do you want to convey to people through your writing?

Saee Joshi: I hope my writing reminds people that they are not alone in their emotions and experiences. If my words can help someone heal, reflect, feel understood, or believe in better days ahead, then my purpose as a writer is fulfilled.

LiFT: What do you do apart from writing?

Saee Joshi: Professionally, I work in content marketing and copywriting. Outside of writing, I enjoy music, playing sports, swimming, exploring creative projects, and continuously learning new skills.

LiFT: What activities do you resort to when you face writer’s block?

Saee Joshi: I step away from forcing creativity and allow myself to experience life. Reading, listening to music, spending time in nature, traveling or or simply taking a break often helps ideas return naturally.

LiFT: Are you working on your next book? If so, could you tell us something about it?

Saee Joshi: Yes, I continue to write and explore new ideas. While I cannot reveal too much yet, my upcoming work continues to explore human emotions, personal growth, and the unexpected connections we find in everyday life.

LiFT: What are your suggestions for budding writers and poets to help them improve their writing skills?

Saee Joshi: Write consistently, even when nobody is reading. Read widely, observe deeply, and don’t be afraid to write honestly. The strongest writing often comes from authenticity — from saying something only you can say in the way only you can express it.
