About Raina Joshi
Raina Joshi is a student who aspires to write about the love she dreams of and wants to introduce the world to the love she believes still exists.
LiFT: Tell us about the theme of the anthology and how did you get to know about it?
Raina Joshi: The anthology, being an open genre, does not contain any specific theme. It is a collection of beautifully written short stories and well-expressed, heart wrenching poems by various talented authors.
LiFT: What inspired you to write for this particular anthology?
Raina Joshi: The childhood dream of having a book with my own contribution and my extreme love for writing led me become a part of this anthology.
LiFT: Where do you see yourself ten years down the line in the world of literature?
Raina Joshi: In ten years, I hope to have my owned first book published and to see where the path leads me from there.
LiFT: What do you do apart from writing?
Raina Joshi: As a student, there’s nothing I do apart from writing though sometimes I like to join as an assistant yoga instructor.
LiFT: What if your readers demand you to convert your short story into a full fledged novel? Would you do that?
Raina Joshi: I originally started my story, “The Palace Unknown” as a novel, but due to lack of time, I ended it as a short story. If readers like it, I would try to extend and convert it into a novel.
LiFT: Are you working on your own book? If yes, please tell us something about it.
Raina Joshi: I surely do look forward to working on my own poetry book collection about love.
LiFT: What are your suggestions to the budding writers/poets so that they could improve their writing skills?
Raina Joshi: One suggestion I would like to add for budding writers to keep reading more books in the genre they write about, as it will guide them towards understanding the likes and dislikes of the readers.
