About PR Pattani
PR Pattani is a debutant author. She believes in spirituality. She is a animal lover and an avid reader. She always dreamt of becoming an author and her dream got accomplished with the book ‘That Night at 3 am’.
LiFT: Tell us about your book, the journey of writing it and its content.
PR Pattani: The journey of my book started in 2013. Me and my cousin and friends were coming from Andheri and we stopped our car at Malad to get a bottle of water. When my cousin and friends went inside the supermarket. I was sitting and viewing facebook on my phone and suddenly I turned right and there was a huge humongous white wings full of white starting from sky towards the earth. I started getting goosebumps and I was really like speechless of what I saw and the next year I started writing this book ‘That Night at 3 am. It’s a story of how a girl faces challenges, failures disappointments, and one finally day she sees something at 3 am which you have to read the book.
LiFT: Why you chose this title?
PR Pattani: The title came in my head when I saw the wings in sky.
LiFT: Where do you see yourself ten years down the line in the world of literature?
PR Pattani: I want to be a well known author. Not for the sake of fame or money but yes this is in my mind right now.
LiFT: How much do you think marketing or quality of a book is necessary to promote a particular book and increase its readers?
PR Pattani: It’s very important for readers to reach my book. Sometimes I have even thought of just the ways to reach the readers to tell the reality of my story behind.
LiFT: What is the message you want to spread among folks with your writings?
PR Pattani: To love each and everyone. Whether it’s an animal or humanbeing, be kind generous and grateful that you are living this life to be loved and to spread love to all of them.
LiFT: What do you do apart from writing?
PR Pattani: Nothing right now. Well, planning to do something for sure.
LiFT: What if your story will be adopted as a movie? Whom would you want to work as a director or actors in it?
PR Pattani: Alia Bhatt for the main protagonist’s role.
LiFT: Are you working on your next book? If yes, please tell us something about it.
PR Pattani: Yes, well that’s a secret.
LiFT: What are your suggestions to the budding writers/poets so that they could improve their writing skills?
PR Pattani: Write with true passion, the reason, the reality the belief in your inner self. Be a little emotional towards your writing.
