About Kaajal Choudhary
Kaajal Choudhary is an engineer, writer, dancer, model, and actress. Kajal hails from Uttar Pradesh and was born in Aligarh. She completed her B.Tech (E.C.) from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur. Subsequently, she is working in a Maharatna company in the power sector.
Since childhood, Kajal has had an inclination towards art. Her poems and articles have been published in around 80 magazines. She has won several awards for her written compositions. She has recited poetry in various events and around 60 poetry symposia across the country.
As a motivational speaker and moderator, she has participated in 65 sessions, including technical, non-technical, and sessions on boosting immunity and yoga. Kajal has graced prestigious stages with classical dances like Bharatanatyam and Kathak.
Her article, awarded by the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India – 2025, was published in “Udyog Bharati”.
LiFT: Tell us about your book, the journey of writing it, and its content.
Kaajal Choudhary: “वास्तविक विकास” is an inspiring and introspective book that motivates readers to view every aspect of life from a new perspective. The author has explained in simple and emotional language that real development is not just material progress, but an upliftment of mind, thoughts, and behavior. This book teaches us that true success is one that comes with inner peace, balance, and sensitivity.
Every story, every example touches the reader’s heart. The book reminds us that true happiness lies in ordinary moments – and recognizing them is real development. The author’s writing style is so effortless and motivating that the reader stays engaged from start to finish.
I thoroughly enjoyed writing all stories, re- living the emotions again and again. Most of the stories are inspired from the real life experiences.
LiFT: Why did you choose this title?
Kaajal Choudhary: This book becomes a powerful tool for understanding life, boosting self-confidence, and developing a positive mindset. If you’re looking for a book that changes your perspective, gives new energy, self-strength, and direction to life – then “Real Development” is a must-read. It’s not just a book, but a life companion that inspires you to become better with every page. When I was thinking about the title of thr book, the first thought that came to my mind was “वास्तविक विकास” which was going very well with the content as well.
LiFT: When did you realize that you wanted to be a writer, and what was your inspiration behind it?
Kaajal Choudhary: I started writing since I was in class 7th. Literarure attracted my attention and I was totally moved to see how writing can trigger imagination.
LiFT: Where do you see yourself ten years down the line in the world of literature?
Kaajal Choudhary: Writing meaningful content which makes life beautiful and better. I wish to contribute to the society as writer by sharing thoughts and ideas which triggers and inspires to change for better.
LiFT: How important do you think marketing and the quality of a book are in promoting it and increasing its readership?
Kaajal Choudhary: Good connect should reach the reader’s heart and marketing and promotion may support in the attempt to make it visible and accessibile to the targeted readers looking for similar content to read.
LiFT: What message do you want to convey to people through your writing?
Kaajal Choudhary: My content always ends on a positive note and I wish it makes an impact in reader’s mind with lots of food for thought, so that they also resonates with the feelings and ideas for improvement.
LiFT: What do you do apart from writing?
Kaajal Choudhary: I work as an Engineer. I enjoy writing poetry and am also an actor.
LiFT: What activities do you resort to when you face writer’s block?
Kaajal Choudhary: I usually writes taking small breaks. When stuck I pursue cooking and yoga.
LiFT: Are you working on your next book? If so, could you tell us something about it?
Kaajal Choudhary: I working on a novel which is a romcom with a message to the society for sustainablilty.
LiFT: What are your suggestions for budding writers and poets to help them improve their writing skills?
Kaajal Choudhary: Read, write, re-write , read , write and repeat.
