LiFT: Tell us about your book, the journey of writing it, and its content.

Shivangi Tewari Mishra: My book ‘Be The Beginner Of Your Life’ is all about you being a beginner for everything. You are ‘God’ (Generator, operator, and destroyer) of your own life. So work upon yourself first to witness the changes happening around you. Unless you take responsibility for your energy, your actions and your mindset, nothing outside of you will truly change. Everything starts with you and ends with you. So, create a positive aura within yourself to see positivity around you. Be the changer first then only the changes will appear in front of you. Be the cause of every positive thing in your life. Develop all those things inside yourself first that you want from others. My book can help you reveal your real ‘being’ which is there inside you and can make you the powerful soul that can lead a wonderful and successful life.

The idea for Be The Beginner Of Your Life was born from my own introspections—moments when I sat quietly with myself, observing human behavior, emotions, and the way life unfolds. As someone deeply connected to emotions and the invisible energies within us, I began to realize a powerful truth: change begins from within. That became the seed of this book. Over time, I felt an inner calling to turn my thoughts into words—not just for myself, but for others who may be searching for clarity, strength, or direction. Writing this book wasn’t just an act of creation; it was an act of self-discovery. With every page, I was not just sharing an idea—I was living it, reflecting it, and refining it. This book is not based on theories or borrowed wisdom. It comes from lived experience and heartfelt realization.

Be The Beginner Of Your Life is a motivational and reflective guide that invites readers to turn inward. It’s not just about “starting over” — it’s about starting from within.
Inside the book, you’ll find:

Deep reminders that everything starts and ends with you

A call to create a positive aura within to reflect positivity around

Encouragement to smile, support others, and lead with kindness

The truth that being the cause of positive change begins with your own self-work

Inspiration to develop the very values in yourself that you seek in others

The message that one personal transformation can ripple out and change the world

Every word in this book is written to help you reconnect with your real being—the powerful soul that already exists within you, waiting to be remembered.

My hope is that this book becomes a companion for your personal journey—something that helps you feel empowered to not just witness life, but to shape it with intention, awareness, and heart.

LiFT: Why did you choose this title?

Shivangi Tewari Mishra: The title ‘Be The Beginner Of Your Life came from a simple yet powerful realization I had during one of my quiet moments of reflection: we often wait for something or someone else to change our lives, without realizing that we are the starting point.

I chose this title because I believe in the strength of beginnings—not just once, but again and again. No matter what has happened in the past, each day gives us the chance to begin a new. You don’t need permission. You don’t need perfect conditions. You just need the willingness to take that first inner step.

“Beginner” doesn’t mean you’re weak or clueless—it means you’re open. It means you’re willing to grow, learn, unlearn, and transform.

I wanted the title to be a reminder that you are the creator, the operator, and even the destroyer of your own path. Life doesn’t change when circumstances shift; life changes when you shift.

Through this title, I hope to awaken the powerful truth within each reader: you are not stuck—you are simply waiting to begin again. And the best person to lead that beginning is you.

LiFT: When did you realize that you wanted to be a writer, and what was your inspiration behind it?

Shivangi Tewari Mishra: I didn’t become a writer by choice — I became one by nature.

The realization first came to me when I was in college. I often found myself sitting alone, quietly observing, reflecting and diving deep into human thoughts and behavior — not out of curiosity but because something in me needed to understand. And then, almost unconsciously, I began to write.

My emotions had no other place to go, so they flowed onto paper. Every time I felt deeply — sadness, inspiration, confusion, or even joy — I wrote. And in those words, I found myself.

That was the moment I knew: writing wasn’t just a way to pass time. It was a way to express, to heal, to exist. It allowed me to translate silence into something meaningful. As an introvert, I often felt things I couldn’t say aloud — but I could always write them.

My inspiration didn’t come from a person or a book — it came from within. From the way thoughts would rise up when the world around me grew still. Writing became my mirror, my friend, and my medicine. And it still is.

LiFT: Where do you see yourself ten years down the line in the world of literature?

Shivangi Tewari Mishra: Ten years from now, I see myself as a more evolved, more fearless, and deeply connected writer — someone who has not only written books but has left a lasting impact on hearts and minds.

I envision myself as a renowned author with a body of work that spans across poetry, short stories, and inspirational books — each carrying the same emotional depth and truth that inspired me to start writing in the first place.

I want my writing to reach people across languages and borders, helping them feel seen, understood, and motivated to reflect on their own journeys. Whether it’s through a single line of poetry or an entire novel, I hope my words become a mirror for those searching for meaning and healing.

In ten years, I also see myself building a space for aspiring writers — maybe through a blog, writing workshops, or a publishing initiative that helps fresh voices be heard. I want to create not just books, but a community around literature and self-expression.

Most of all, I want to stay true to the reason I began writing: to explore, to express, and to evolve. If I can look back in ten years and say that I never stopped growing — as a writer and as a soul — then I’ll consider myself truly successful in the world of literature.

LiFT: How important do you think marketing and the quality of a book are in promoting it and increasing its readership?

Shivangi Tewari Mishra: I believe that both the quality of a book and its marketing play crucial roles in promoting it and increasing readership — but in very different ways.

A book’s quality is what gives it soul. If the writing doesn’t resonate, no amount of marketing can make it truly successful. A well-written book speaks for itself — it leaves an emotional impact, creates word-of-mouth buzz, and builds long-term trust with readers. This is why I focus deeply on the content — every word, every message, every feeling must be authentic and meaningful.

But quality alone isn’t enough. In today’s world, where thousands of books are published every day, even the most powerful story can go unnoticed without proper marketing. Readers need to know the book exists — and that’s where marketing becomes essential.

For me, as an introvert, marketing has always been a challenge. But I’ve come to realize that promoting your book isn’t about “selling” — it’s about sharing your message with those who need it. If my words can help someone, then it’s my responsibility to make sure they reach the right eyes and hearts.

Ultimately, I believe in balancing both: write with depth and honesty, then share with courage and consistency. A good book deserves to be read — and it’s up to the writer to make sure it finds its readers.

LiFT: What message do you want to convey to people through your writing?

Shivangi Tewari Mishra: Through my writing, I want to convey one powerful message: everything you seek outside is already within you.

Whether I write poetry or stories, reflections or motivational thoughts, my intention is to awaken people to their own inner strength. I want to remind them that they are not helpless or stuck — they are the beginners of their own life, the creators of their own change.

My writing reflects emotions, human psychology, nature, healing, and hope. I believe words can act as medicine — when they come from the heart, they have the power to heal hearts.

In a world where people are often lost in noise, I hope my writing becomes a moment of pause — a space to breathe, feel, and reconnect with the self.

More than anything, I want my readers to feel empowered, understood, and uplifted — to see their pain as strength, their silence as wisdom, and their life as a story still beautifully unfolding.

LiFT: What do you do apart from writing?

Shivangi Tewari Mishra: Apart from writing, I lead a life that keeps me deeply connected to people, emotions, and everyday experiences. By profession I am a teacher which allows me to observe the world through different lenses — something that often finds its way into my words.

I also spend time reflecting, reading, observing human behavior, and staying close to nature — all of which nurture the emotional and psychological depth in my writing.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy listening to music, spending time with myself in silence, cooking & dancing. These moments refuel my creativity and bring balance to my life.

Every role I play outside of being a writer — whether personal or professional — adds to the richness of what I bring to the page. Writing is my passion, but life itself is my biggest teacher.

LiFT: What activities do you resort to when you face writer’s block?

Shivangi Tewari Mishra: When I face writer’s block, I don’t fight it — I try to understand it. For me, writer’s block often comes when my mind is cluttered or my emotions are unsettled. So instead of forcing words, I pause and step away.

I usually turn to silence, nature, or deep reflection — the same things that inspired me to write in the first place. Sometimes I just sit quietly and let my thoughts settle. Other times, I go for a walk, listen to soulful music, or read something that nourishes me from within.

Most importantly, I remind myself that it’s okay to pause — that creativity like life, moves in cycles. When I return to writing after these moments, I do so with more clarity, honesty, and depth.

LiFT: Are you working on your next book? If so, could you tell us something about it?

Shivangi Tewari Mishra: Yes, I am currently working on my next book, and it’s a project very close to my heart. This time, I’m exploring the essence of the Bhagavad Gita — not in a traditional or scholarly way, but through simple short stories and real-life incidents that people can relate to in their daily lives.

The goal is to show how easily we can understand the deep teachings of the Gita and apply them to modern life — whether it’s dealing with emotions, relationships, decisions, or challenges. The book is meant for anyone who seeks clarity, peace, or purpose but feels overwhelmed by the complexity of spiritual texts.

Through relatable characters and everyday situations, I want to highlight how Gita’s timeless wisdom is not just for saints and scholars — it’s for all of us. It’s a guide for living with awareness, courage, and balance in today’s world.

Just like my previous writings, this book is also an extension of my own reflections and learnings. I hope it will serve as a gentle companion for those who are on their own spiritual or emotional journeys.

LiFT: What are your suggestions for budding writers and poets to help them improve their writing skills?

Shivangi Tewari Mishra: To every aspiring writer and poet out there:

First, know this — your voice matters. No matter how small you feel, your words have the power to touch someone’s heart, just like someone else’s words once touched yours.

Writing is not about being perfect. It’s about being honest, observant, and emotionally present. Don’t try to sound like someone else. Instead, listen to your own thoughts, feel your emotions deeply, and pour them into words without judgment.

✍️ Here are a few things that helped me improve my writing:

Write regularly, even if it’s just a paragraph a day. Writing is like a muscle — the more you use it, the stronger it gets.

Read deeply and widely. Read poetry, fiction, nonfiction — everything. Let words from others inspire your own.

Observe life closely. A good writer sees beauty, pain, and meaning in small everyday moments.

Don’t be afraid to rewrite. First drafts are meant to be raw. Great writing is often born in the editing.

Share your work, but don’t fear silence. Not everyone will respond — and that’s okay. Write for yourself first.

Accept feedback, but trust your voice. Learn from others, but don’t lose your uniqueness trying to fit in.

Most importantly, stay connected to your “why.” Why did you start writing in the first place? Let that reason guide you every time you sit down to write.

Writing is a journey of the soul. Be patient. Be kind to yourself. And never stop writing — even when no one is watching. Sometimes, the most powerful words are written in silence.
