LiFT: Tell us about your book, the journey of writing it and its content?

Aditi Gosalia: ‘Let’s Walk Through’ is a pen down of raw thoughts, stories, and experiential elements with a hope that it partners you while you navigate your walk though from your heart and mind to paper, person and profession.
It has been written as a gentle reminder of how our core habits, mindset, behaviour, and attitude towards the situation’s life presents us with, effect the directions of our journey and can change almost everything.
It seeks to hand hold us with things that are minor yet essential for one’s inner growth and sense of contentment as a person and in the professional space.
Let’s Walk Through aims to share insights on how we tend to ignore them just because we hold on to our own notions more dearly.
This book aims to serve as partner towards a progressive life envisaged by us for ourself with an effort of a little more than 100%.
Going forward, I request you to read each capsule, sync in, relate it to an instance that matters or mattered to you and shape it up to the direction you envisage.
Ultimately, ‘Learn – Unlearn – Relearn’ is what our journeys define themselves as…

LiFT: Why you chose this title?

Aditi Gosalia: My creation, Let’s Walk Though aims to be the readers partner in their journey from the heart and mind, to the paper, to the person, to the profession. Hence the name.

LiFT: When did you realize that you want to be a writer and what’s your inspiration behind it?

Aditi Gosalia: Dr. Swati Lodha, a renowned author nurtured and gave birth to the author in me. She unfolded me to an Aditi I didn’t know of. I have had an inclination towards reading since childhood, would write small pieces just for fun and forget about it. I met Dr. Lodha in Mid 2021, she unfolded the writer in me.

LiFT: Where do you see yourself ten years down the line in the world of literature?

Aditi Gosalia: I want to explore different genres of writing and make an effort to have a small library of my creation.

LiFT: How much do you think marketing or quality of a book is necessary to promote a particular book and increase its readers?

Aditi Gosalia: Both are equally important and go hand in hand.

LiFT: What is the message you want to spread among folks with your writings?

Aditi Gosalia: Each of us experience a trigger point some time in life, could be anything, person, situation…book…. It’s important to identify and embrace it, nourish that trigger point and leverage it well… to be the best version of yourself.

LiFT: What do you do apart from writing?

Aditi Gosalia: I work with Podar World College, handling corporate relations, training and career services.

LiFT: What are the activities you resort to when you face a writer’s block?

Aditi Gosalia: Meditation and a quick break.

LiFT: What are your suggestions to the budding writers/poets so that they could improve their writing skills?

Aditi Gosalia: Reading is the first actionable… it improves our vocab, opens our thought process. 2nd… make an attempt to write, even small pieces… approach writers and authors in your network… create a network if you don’t have, platforms like LinkedIn are a good option. 3rd, participate in writing competitions, it’s okay not to win because it’s beautiful even just to learn. and most importantly listen to your inner being.
