LiFT Traditional Publishing Program

Hey! Author. Welcome to the LiFT’s Traditional Publishing Program. Please go through the following details to learn how you can publish a book with us through the Traditional route.

Things to Note

  • The manuscript should be unique and original. It should not be an already published manuscript.
  • The languages accepted are English and Hindi only.
  • The manuscript should be finely typed in an Ms Office Word file.
  • Submit first three chapters and a brief summary of your book to literarytales@gmail.com
  • Please include follwing details in your email: Your Full Name and Mobile Number.

Timeline

  • We will try out best to respond to your email within 3 working days from the date of submission of the sample chapters and summary.
  • If your manuscript is selected, we will ask you to submit the entire script in a stipulated time frame. If not, consider that we will not be moving ahead with your proposal.
  • Final manuscript would be reviewed within 30 days from the date of submission and we will let you know our final decision.
  • If your manuscript is selected, the book will be published within 21-28 days from the date of selection.

Things Included in Our Traditional Publishing Offer

  • Typesetting of the Manuscript.
  • ISBN Allocation.
  • Cover Designing.
  • Printing.
  • Online distribution on Amazon India, Flipkart, Amazon Kindle and Google Play Books.
  • 2 Free Author Copies. Additional Author Copies at 40% discount on MRP.
  • Royalty = 100% Author Profit Share.

Things Not Included

  • Chapter wise formatting of the script.
  • Manuscript Editing. (If you want us to do it, charges would be Rs. 0.60 per word).
  • Highly Illustrated Book Cover or the Cover with paid Stock Images.
  • Copyright. (Charges for the copyright registration would be Rs. 3000/- plus GST).
  • Any kind of Paid Marketing Campaigns.
  • Offline distribution.
