Rohit Kumar Dugar is studying in 3rd year in Xavier Law School, Kolkata. He is also pursuing Company Secretary as a side course along with B.Com LLB (H). His dream is to become a lawyer in future. He also has interest in Sports. He holds various medals in Karate and presently he is holding Black Dam 2 Belt. He likes to play Cricket and participate in friendly championships in his locality. He has interest in writing poems about reality and loves to write educational books in his field. He dreams to pursue PhD in future and wants to write thesis in Future.

LiFT: Tell us about your book, the journey of writing it and its content.

Rohit: This book is about Company Law and contains various major sections related to it and is very beneficial for students pursuing Law, CA or CS as their career. I basically started reading various books related to it and then started writing points out of it which created a habit towards writing and encouraged me to write on the content of Company Law.

LiFT: Why you chose this title?

Rohit: I choose this title because my book consists of details about Company Law in point wise manner and is easy for the readers to recall it further.

LiFT: When did you realize that you want to be a writer/poet and what’s your inspiration behind it?

Rohit: My inspiration is my Family and Friends. I used to write for myself but it was my family who made me take the decision to make it Publish.

LiFT: Where do you see yourself ten years down the line in the world of literature?

Rohit: As my aim after LLB is to pursue Masters and then PHD. So in mare future I want to see myself a thesis writer and contribute to the legal society.

LiFT: How much do you think marketing or quality of a book is necessary to promote a particular book and increase its readers?

Rohit: In today’s world marketing plays a very vital role in Promotion of books but more than that content should be as good as the quality of the book which may attract the readers.

LiFT: What is the message you want to spread among folks with your writings?

Rohit: My message amongst the folk with my writing is that the readers prefer point wise more than paragraph wise. As point wise description is more easy for the readers to recall.

LiFT: What do you do apart from writing?

Rohit: I like to play sports apart from writing.

LiFT: What are the activities you resort to when you face a writer’s block?

Rohit: When I face a writer’s block I feel like going for a walk and try thinking my way out from a different point of view

LiFT: Are you working on your next book? If yes, please tell us something about it.

Rohit: My next book would be on Taxation which would cover the details of both Direct and Indirect Tax.

LiFT: What are your suggestions to the budding writers/poets so that they could improve their writing skills?

Rohit: For writers they should use simple and small words and sentences which would attract and be easier for the readers to read.
