Leave aside goal of life, we don’t even know the agenda of this moment, with clarity & objectivity. We are stressed, anxious and perplexed. Thus, instead of finding peace of mind, we have made pieces of mind. On professional front, he is an expert of large Projects, with 30+ years of experience in multinationals.
LiFT: Tell us about your book, the journey of writing it and its content.
Pawan Dua: My journey of writing this book commenced in January, 2021 while the cases of pandemic Coronavirus had started to settle, though the fear and tension was still prevailing. After seeing so much pain around, it triggered a thought in me that if life is so fragile then what is the point delaying everything for future. Life is happening now and instead of enjoying we are delaying everything. There is no guarantee of future, not even for the next moment. So why not make each moment a celebration and live fully. Before that I never thought that life could be helpless… My new belief was further strengthened while we faced the second wave of coronavirus, that engulfed the entire nation again by March-April, 2021. The consequences of which were even worse and more devasting than the first wave. So, I intensified my efforts to complete the book and released the same by Aug. 2021.
LiFT: Why you chose this title?
Pawan Dua: Right from the dawn of human life on this planet, we have been advocating peace and happiness, but still in unrest. Despite having achieved the advancements and developments in all spheres of life, we are still stressed, depressed, and perplexed. One of the major reasons is that we never live in present. We are always busy in memorizing the past or worrying about the future. So, I thought that until each moment become a Celebration, we can never be fully satisfied and contended. We can achieve true happiness when we have a happy mind, healthy heart & peaceful relations with everyone. Only then, life will become a Celebration Forever.
LiFT: When did you realize that you want to be a writer and what’s your inspiration behind it?
Pawan Dua: By virtue of my profession, I am Project Management Expert. For last over two decades, I been read and written almost 200 Contracts. Dec. 2018, I left my job at Schneider Electric and decided to consolidate my learnings. So, I decided to translate my knowledge and experience from “Brain to Book”, so that larger community could be benefited. So, I wrote my first book on professional domain, titled “Risks & Deterrents in Construction Projects”. I got good response. Soon, I decided to cover the bigger canvas, which is Life. There cannot be anything more interesting & intriguing than Life. So, my next book titled “Celebration Forever” focused on different paradigms of life. My primary objective is start giving back to community, in whatever form I can.
LiFT: Where do you see yourself ten years down the line in the world of literature?
Pawan Dua: Frankly speaking, it is too early for me to look so far. At present, I am learning to live in now moments and enjoy life. As such, I have no clear goal or dream set for such a long term, in the direction of literature. However, I am an optimistic person, I read a lot and will certainly continue to contribute my bit by writing, mostly related to good life or self-help.
LiFT: How much do you think marketing or quality of a book is necessary to promote a particular book and increase its readers?
Pawan Dua: These are two distinct areas, Marketing & Quality of Book. I don’t want to be diplomatic to answer this. I feel that the Quality & Content of book is super important, an Author and a book have to sustain for long time. Anyone can write anything, make promotion and earn money. But if the readers are not finding meaning and substance, I don’t think readers will be genuinely appreciate, remember for long or practice what an Author is trying to preach through its book.
I am not at all denying or discounting the importance of marketing. There are unlimited new books, magazines, blogs, articles, audios and videos, etc. are being released every day. So, the relevant audience needs the proper feeds, inputs and timely updates of new publications. Only good marketing can help the readers and authors both to connect and make a win-win situation. So, marketing platform is key to success for anyone to survive and sustain.
LiFT: What is the message you want to spread among folks with your writings?

You have much bigger agenda of life, just find your striking formula, passion and goal, so that life become exciting, fulfilling, and Celebration forever.

LiFT: Are you working on your next book? If yes, please tell us something about it.
Pawan Dua: Yes. I am writing on many blocking mindsets, which are holding humans to shine – if we manage them well, we can live longer, healthier and better.
LiFT: What are your suggestions to the budding writers/poets so that they could improve their writing skills?
Pawan Dua: Authors should remain lifelong learners first. They must read a lot themselves, challenge our own thought process and adapt new things. By reading more minds through books, articles and blogs, we can learn different, better and latest aspects of everything and then we can make better contribution through our contributions.
